We are excited to be launching Loop!

Loop is a new growth programme for South West based tech startup founders. We are delighted to build on the impressive array of support for tech startups in Bristol. We aim to give founders a boost in essential business skills and provide collaborative support to help them succeed.

Loop gives its participants structured access to practical advice from local experts across a range of business services, including investor relations, product development, marketing, PR, accounting and finance.

We’ve identified that many tech business owners struggle with the challenge of setting up and running a business without getting distracted from their true passion; usually the product or service they have created.

Loop aims to change that by arming its participants with practical knowledge and advice, provided directly by trusted experts and structured across nine monthly sessions, each focusing on a specific business discipline.

Loop is a collaboration between Affecton and creative marketing agency Workbrands. We’ve teamed up with a select group of business and tech experts, who are committed to helping tech startup founders grow their businesses. All the experts are giving their time freely, and programme participants will only be charged a nominal fee to cover costs.

The experts, carefully selected for their specific expertise working with tech-based businesses, includes senior representatives from Cookies HQ, Purplefish, HdE, ADLIB, SouthWestern VC, Gregg Latchams, Lightholm Consulting, Workbrands and Affecton.

Workbrands founder and director Nick Farrar said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Loop is open for applications. During our seventeen years in Bristol, we’ve witnessed at first-hand the phenomenal growth of the famous South West tech cluster, and supporting its continued development is something we’ve spoken about for a while. So it’s great to launch a programme like Loop which offers so much value to founders.”

Start-up founders interested in participating in the inaugural Loop programme are invited to attend the official launch of Loop at the Engine Shed in Bristol on Tuesday 25 February. Click here to register for the event.
